The Štekars use to joke by saying that »we are the centre of the most beautiful place on Earth«. Staying with us gives you an opportunity to walk around or go on trips because the farm is an ideal starting point for searching around the surroundings.

You can go for a walk or cycle among the blooming cherry trees, take a walk along the path of peace, climb Sabotin (690 m) or see the remains from the first world war (army guardhouse, long rows in the hill, officer's bath in the open field …) at the top of the nearby hill.

You can take a one day trip along the Soča river towards the museum in Kobarid (the museum about the first world war), have fun with various activities on the river, visit the Postojna caves, Lipica, the pearls of the Slovenian sea (Koper, Izola or Piran) or the nearby Venice. You can spend some hours in Ljubljana or Trieste, Udine, Čedad (Cividale del Fruili) or visit Klagenfurt on the highway … You can reach any of these towns in an hour.
